













NOTE: The 2010-2011 Springfield Township School District tax bills were mailed on July 1, 2010.











The millage rate for the 2010-2011 School tax bills is 28.348 and the amount of the Homestead Reduction (if applicable) is $328.30.












This office also collects the the following:
















Springfield Township real estate taxes (the rate for 2010 is 3.370 mills)












Montgomery County real estate taxes (the rate for 2010 is 2.695 mills) Refuse Service fee (the rate for 2010 is $195.53)












Sanitary Sewer Rental (the rate for 2010 is $3.74/1000 gallons of water, net* *80% of the total water usage for 2009)












Waste Generation fee (this is charged to non-residential/commercial property owners)











All of the above come on one bill which was mailed in early February and the "Face" amount was due by Tuesday June 1st.




The "Penalty" amount of the Township/County tax bill is now owed and must be paid before 2 pm on December 31, 2010.













After that it will be sent to the Montgomery County Tax Claim Bureau for collection.












When a property is transferred/sold/refinanced, etc. a Tax Certification is required. We provide them to Title companies, mortgage









companies and/or tax servicing companies. The fee for a tax cert is $25. Please allow at least 5-10 business days for processing. 


We gladly help people understand their tax bills and offer aid to those who need assistance applying for senior citizen and Disabled Veterans tax assistance.

The office is centrally located in Springfield with a few parking spots in the front. There is additional parking the rear. You can also park in the parking lot of a nearby business (i.e. Beneficial Bank) and walk the short distance to our office. Keep in mind that during the busy times of the year (last two weeks of March, May, August and October) parking can be difficult, especially at the beginning of the office hours. If you come a little later, you'll usually have less of a problem.
This office does not provide forms for tax rebates or Homestead Exemption. However, a link can be found to those websites on our "News" page.
This office does NOT handle Springfield's Earned Income Taxes nor do we provide forms for this tax or any other type of tax return. Please contact Keystone Tax Bureau. your employer and/or Springfield Township for information about your EIT. This office also cannot answer questions regarding your personal income taxes (state or federal). Any tax forms (or other paperwork) sent to this office by mistake will be mailed back to the taxpayer and will not be forwarded.
